Audiobio is a pioneering platform that specializes in creating timeless Audio Biographies, also called - you guessed it! - AudioBios. We capture the essence of your loved ones' voices, stories, and legacies, preserving them for future generations.  

2. What Is the Significance of Preserving Audio Legacies?

3. How Does Audiobio Work? 

Audiobio's process involves several stages: Consultation, Interview Sessions, Editing, Review and Approval, and finally, Delivery of the Audio Biography. 

4. Can I Gift an Audiobio to Someone? 

Yes, gifting an Audiobio is a meaningful gesture. You can gift a loved one the opportunity to share their stories and preserve their legacy for generations to come. So you and the rest of your family can enjoy it in the present and the future. 

5. What Add-ons Are Available With Audiobio? 

Audiobio offers various add-ons to enhance your Audio Biography, including transcripts, in-situ interviews, video messages, coffee table books with photos, Family Podcasts and a Time Capsule packaging. See our Add-ons page to see the whole range!

6. How Long Does the Entire Process Take? 

The duration varies depending on the complexity of the project and the package you choose. On average, the process from Consultation to final delivery can take a few weeks to a couple of months. 

7. How Are the Interview Sessions Conducted? 

Interview sessions can be done in-person or remotely, depending on your preference. Our team ensures a comfortable and relaxed environment to capture the most authentic and heartfelt stories. It is a very non-formal, yet professional type of setup. 

8. How Many Interview Sessions? 

It depends on your choice of package. For an individual Short AudioBio that only focuses on the main events of ones' life, we dedicate two 2-hour sessions. But it can be more, it is really up to you. For a full length life story, we believe 4 to 6 sessions are necessary. 

9. Who Will Lead the Interview Sessions? 

Most likely, it'll be me, Julien Manuguerra-Patten. I have founded AudioBio and I have a long experience in interviewing all sorts of people from my time with the BBC, CBC in Canada and different public radio and TV networks in France. I like to establish a good connection with people so everyone is at ease. If it is not me, then it will be one of our collaborators - we only work with journalists that we personally know, with great credentials. 

10. Can I Have In-Situ Interviews at Significant Locations? 

Yes, Audiobio offers in-situ interviews at locations that hold special significance for you or your loved ones. These interviews add a unique touch to your Audio Biography. Note that these interviews are not part of the classic packages but can be added to any of them on demand and for an extra fee. 

11. How Does Audiobio Guarantee Professional Sound Quality? 

Audiobio utilizes state-of-the-art recording and preservation techniques to ensure the highest sound quality. That means professional recording devices and microphones. We use lossless audio formats and advanced strategies to future-proof your Audio Biography.

12. Any Editing Involved? 

Yes, there is. Our skilled team of audio producers carefully edit the recorded interviews to ensure the best quality, clarity, and coherence. Editing includes removing any background noise, pauses, or interruptions to create a seamless and engaging narrative. We then structure your AudioBio in Life-Chapters to provide a comfortable and organized way for you and your loved ones to revisit specific periods, stories, or themes at your own pace. 

13. Can I Customize the Content of My AudioBio? 

Absolutely! Audiobio's personalised approach allows you to customize the content of your Audio Biography. We work closely with you to ensure that the stories and memories captured align with your vision.

14. How Do I Review and Approve my AudioBio? 

Once the editing is complete, we provide you with an advanced draft for review. You have the final say in approving the content before the AudioBio is delivered.

15. What Formats Are the AudioBios Delivered In? 

Audiobio offers versatile delivery options. Your Audio Biography will be delivered digitally, accessible through a secure cloud platform. Additionally, we provide physical formats such as flash drives and memory cards for a more tangible experience.
